Mama decided to start the party a little early. On Good Friday, it was by time that we break out the bunny ears!
Daddy had off work on Good Friday, as well, so we drove over to Deep Ellum and had some delicious barbecue at Pecan Lodge! This place is super popular and you have to wait in a long line that wraps around the building to order.
On Saturday, Lissie and Aunt Claire joined us and we went on a little field trip an hour north of town to visit Texas Tulips - a tulip farm where you can pick an assortment of tulips to take home.
Buttttt, in case you need just a few more pictures of Hadley in her darling smocked bunny outfit. Don't worry. We've got you covered! :)
On Easter morning, we kicked off the day by coming down to find what the Easter Bunny had left Miss Hadley and Boy was he generous!! Hadley must have been a good little girl - or else she is extremely lucky to have some very loving friends and family members! Most likely both! :)
This year we were excited to stay in town and celebrate our first Easter as a family of three at our new church home! Highland Park Methodist always does their Easter service at Moody Coliseum on SMU campus to accommodate the thousands of people who come to worship on Easter Sunday! It was a wonderful service and we enjoyed our first Easter as members of HPUMC.
Happy 1st Easter Hadley! Our blessings are many this year, but you most certainly top our list!
