Gobble, Gobble! Time to check in on our little turkey this week!
What's Baby Up To:
How's Mama?
Still doing fine! Sometime's I am definitely sporting a pregnancy pooch and other times my stomach looks close to flat. Since it is not consistent I can only guess that the fluctuation is caused more by bloat and food than by baby. Although I am not eager to gain weight, I am looking forward to a more noticeable bump so that people can tell I am pregnant and not just skipping out on a few of the stomach stretches in yoga class because I'm lazy! ;)
The only new thing I have noticed is that when I climb stairs, I can feel a small mass in my lower abdomen. Kinda neat, since it is really the only time I have been able to feel something in there!
Turkey Day Fun
I really thought Thanksgiving this year would be a whole new level of awesome since I'd be eating for two, but I probably ate less than usual. Eh. I can make up for it at Christmas, I suppose! ;)
Mason and I enjoyed getting to see family members that we had not yet seen since the announcement of our little one! We also got lots of practice playing with some of the littlest members of our family, Mason's second cousins, Maycie & Ian.
- Listening to my voice, thanks to tiny bones forming in their ears! (Just in time to hear me belt out Mariah Carey's Christmas album...lucky baby!) :)
- Growing hair, lashes, & eyebrows!
- Forming taste buds!
- Chest is expanding and contracting, drawing amniotic fluid into lungs to prepare the lungs for breathing.

I'm not sure what his secret is, but Mason is a bonafide baby whisperer! Babies always love to come to him! Hoping this magic works on Baby G as well. :)
We hope that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We have so very much to be thankful for this year! :)
